Abstract

Air outlet system constructed from individual elements, in which each element consists of a rectangular housing (1) with an air outlet face forming the base and a supply-air duct leading into one of the faces opposite the base or adjacent thereto, and the individual elements can be interconnected by the longitudinal and/or transverse sides, the housing interior of each element being subdivided by perforated air distribution and baffle plates (12) into at least two chambers arranged one after the other in the flow direction and the chamber which faces the air outlet distributing, in its function as pressure chamber, the air over the inflow face of the downstream compensating chamber, downstream of the compensating chamber there being arranged a further air-conducting chamber (8) which is formed by a honeycomb plate (14) and has the same base, the cylindrical capillaries (15) of which are dimensioned with respect to cylinder height and cylinder diameter such that the air emerging has a practically laminar flow. <IMAGE>
